NEW Fallout 76 Legacy Season Vote is LIVE

Fallout 76's third Legacy Seasons vote is now open. This round decides which past season returns next as a Legacy Season, letting players earn its original rewards again. The candidates are Season 7: Zorbo's Revenge, Season 9: Dread Island, and Season 12: Rip Daring and the Cryptid Hunt. Voting runs through r/fo76 on Reddit and closes November 6. Legacy Seasons arrived with The Slasher update and let players work through an older season alongside the current one. Unlike the current season's reward pages, a Legacy Season's rewards must be claimed in order, so you cannot skip the middle ranks to grab a single item. Rewards you already earned in the past, or bought from the Atomic Shop, are pre-marked as claimed, letting veterans skip past them. The first Legacy Season run has no bonus page, but Bethesda folded a few new items into the track; the original season game boards do not return.

Standout Rewards in Each Candidate Season 

Season 7: Zorbo's Revenge

Season 7 launched December 8, 2021 with the Night of the Moth update, built around Dr. Zorbo's revenge against Captain Cosmos. Its rewards lean toward character looks and allies. Katherine Swan (Rank 25) and Xerxo (Rank 50) are two allies you can place at your C.A.M.P. The Dr. Zorbo outfit splits into the Dr. Zorbo Helmet (Rank 92) and the Dr. Zorbo Robes (Rank 96), the core late-season rewards. The Skelscream theme offers the Skelscream Power Armor paint (Rank 88), and the Rank 100 bundle adds the Screaming Skelscream Power Armor paint. Zorbo-themed Power Armor paints cover seven models: T-45, T-51, Excavator, T-60, X-01, Ultracite, and T-65. On the C.A.M.P. side there are the West Virginia Slot Machine, Octosaw Plushie, UFO Umbrella Patio Table, Wavy Willard's Bubble Machine, and Starscape floors, foundations, and wallpaper.

Season 9: Dread Island

Season 9 launched June 14, 2022 with the Test Your Metal update. Its full title is "Heart of Steel: A Dread Island Tale," telling the story of the Franklin children and their protector H-4RT. The standout rewards are the Blackbird Elite Power Armor paint and the Mercenary Company Power Armor paint. For C.A.M.P. items, the Chuckwagon Cooking Station is a pioneer-style cooking station, and the Arm Wrestling Machine grants a temporary Charisma boost. Weapon skins cover the Shotgun, Super Sledge, and Bow. The rest includes Raider-themed armor, the Industrial Floodlight, Green Moulded Carpet floors and foundations, a Vault Boy arcade machine, and the Dread Island Skull icon.

Season 12: Rip Daring and the Cryptid Hunt

Season 12 launched February 28, 2023 with the Mutation Invasion update, following Rip Daring's hunt for cryptids. Its functional rewards are the most concentrated of the three. The Cold Shoulder is a special double-barrel shotgun with Quad, Cryo, and Paranormal effects, which quadruple ammo capacity, add cryo damage, and deal extra damage to Cryptids. The Daring Heavy Cryo Turret freezes approaching enemies, and the Rip Daring Jetpack is a skin for the Secret Service and Brotherhood of Steel Recon jetpacks. Sheepsquatch-themed Power Armor paints cover several models. C.A.M.P. and decoration rewards include the Mothman chandelier, Mothman lamp, Taxidermy Tinker's Workbench, Hunter's Throne, Hunter's Lodge, and Cryptid plushies such as the Grafton Monster and Flatwoods Monster. The season also adds the Brother Steven ally. Fallout 1st members get extras such as the Mothman wing chandelier and the Hunter's Lodge shelter.

Beyond the Vote, Plan Your Season Tickets

A Legacy Season shares the same Season Tickets pool as the current season. Spending tickets in a Legacy Season leaves fewer for the current one, so beyond the vote itself, plan how to split the two. Rewards unlock in a linear order, so if your target sits at a later rank, you must claim the whole stretch before it, and the real ticket cost runs higher than the single item's price. Measure the full remaining stretch from your position to the item, not the item's price alone.

This round, Season 12 leads as of this writing, carried mainly by functional rewards like the Cold Shoulder and the Daring Heavy Cryo Turret. Season 7 suits players chasing the Dr. Zorbo outfit, Zorbo Power Armor paints, or the Xerxo ally. Season 9 leans toward the Blackbird Elite paint and camp items such as the Chuckwagon Cooking Station. If you already completed a season in the past, focus on the few new items it adds before spending tickets.

The third Legacy Seasons vote stays open through November 6, and its result decides which past season returns next. The three candidates pull in different directions: Season 12 leads with functional weapons and turrets, Season 7 centers on the Zorbo look and allies, and Season 9 favors Power Armor paints and camp items.
