ARC Raiders Items: How to Collect and Keep Your Loot Safe

1. Why ARC Raiders Items Matter More Than Kills

In many shooting games, the goal is to defeat as many enemies as possible. In ARC Raiders, that is not the best way. Your real goal is to collect ARC Raiders Items and return to your hideout alive. Destroying enemy machines is just a method – not the victory itself.

Every time you leave your base, you risk losing everything you carry. So instead of fighting every robot you see, focus on finding valuable items and running away at the right time. Remember this simple rule: A living Raider with common items is better than a dead Raider with legendary items.

2. Three Colors Tell You an Item’s Worth

ARC Raiders Items use a color system to show how rare and powerful they are. You do not need to memorize complicated names – just look at the glow:

If you are new, do not go for gold right away. Start with green and blue items. That way, even if you die, you do not lose something priceless.

3. Healing Items – When and How to Use Them

Healing is one of the most important uses of ARC Raiders Items. You have three main healing tools:

Do not waste a Medical Syringe when you have only a tiny scratch. Use Bandages first. Save Syringes for emergencies – for example, when a large ARC robot shoots you and your health bar turns red. Also, healing items take a few seconds to work. During that time, you cannot shoot or run fast. So find cover first, then heal.

4. Utility Items That Save You from Bad Situations

Utility items do not heal or fight directly, but they get you out of trouble. These ARC Raiders Items can mean the difference between escaping and dying. Key examples:

Always carry at least one utility item. The Smoke Grenade is the best choice for beginners because it is easy to use and works against almost every enemy.

5. Resources – What to Take and What to Leave

Resources are non‑combat items used to upgrade your hideout. Common resources are:

Because your backpack has limited space, you cannot take everything. Here is a simple priority list:

  1. Gold or Purple items (always take, even if you have to drop something else)

  2. Data Drives (very useful for long-term progress)

  3. Medical Syringes (keep at least 2)

  4. Metal Bolts (common – only take if you have free space)

  5. Fuel Canisters (leave if you already have 3)

If you are playing alone, focus on #1 and #3. If you are with a team, one person can carry resources while others carry weapons and healing.

6. How to Safely Extract with Your Items

In ARC Raiders, you do not win by killing the most robots. You win by reaching an extraction point – a spot on the map where a dropship picks you up. Once you are on the ship, all ARC Raiders Items in your backpack become permanently yours.

Here are safe extraction tips:

7. What to Do After a Successful Run

Back at your hideout, you can use the Crafting Bench to turn resources into new ARC Raiders Items. For example:

Also, store your best items in your Stash (safe storage). Never carry your only legendary weapon into a mission unless you are sure you will not die. A good rule: keep your Stash half‑full with spare gear. That way, if you die and lose everything, you still have backup items for the next run.

8. Final Advice – Practice with Cheap Items First

If you are new to the game, do not use your best ARC Raiders Items right away. Take only gray or green items on your first 5 missions. Learn where extraction points are, which enemies are most dangerous, and how to run away. Once you feel confident, slowly add blue items.

Also, play with a teammate if possible. Two Raiders can carry twice as many items and watch each other’s backs. Share healing and utility items. Together, you can escape even from big ARC bosses.
