ZZZ Best Teams in the New Version
Every ZZZ patch reshuffles team building, and 3.2 is no different. The update added a new fifth specialty, and the moment Claret and Roxy landed, everyone asked whether that team is actually good. I spent a few days in Deadly Assault and Shiyu Defense, and the conclusion is simple: the old Void Hunters still run the top of the meta, and the new team has potential but hasn't been fully proven yet. Here are the strongest teams in 3.2, sorted by archetype, with the tradeoffs so you can just build along.

The Three Void Hunters Are Still the Ceiling
No matter what new characters drop, Miyabi, Ye Shunguang, and Yixuan are still the benchmarks, and building around them almost never goes wrong.
- Miyabi is the ceiling for Ice anomaly thanks to her strong on-field presence. Her Disorder team with Nangong Yu and Yuzuha is stable in both damage and daze, and no ice team has really passed her yet.
- Ye Shunguang runs Physical attack, with full invincibility and huge damage during her transform, she's the hardest card for single-target burst and hard fights.
- Yixuan plays Ether Destiny Break, which ignores defense, and with her support core she's sat in the top tier all through Season 2.
The Void Hunters' strength has been proven across patches, not projected, and that's the biggest difference between them and the new units.
The New 3.2 Armorer Specialty, Claret and Roxy Have Something
The genuinely new thing in 3.2 is the fifth specialty, Armorer, which turns defense into damage, and its core features Claret on field, Roxy as the stunner, and Rina in support.
- Claret is the first Armorer main DPS, stacking defense to push her damage up, and her crit rate can overflow past 100% to trigger a second sharp crit, so the ceiling on her kit isn't low.
- Roxy is her dedicated stunner, handling stun extension and crit bonuses, plus a team-wide sharp-crit damage buff, and she's the most tightly bound to Claret.
- Rina provides penetration and a team-wide defense buff, which pushes Claret's damage ceiling up another notch.
This comp was listed as S-tier at launch, but the real-world numbers haven't fully settled yet, so don't go all-in; watch the environment for a couple of weeks first.

The Other Playable Teams, Pick by Your Roster
Besides the Void Hunters and the new Armorer core, 3.2 still has a few battle-tested or worthwhile teams, so build what you already have instead of chasing the new stuff.
- Remielle's anomaly team was built on the 3.1 anniversary carry. The reaction has been proven in real play, so it stays top-tier in 3.2 and remains your safest anomaly pick.
- Sigrid runs Ice attack burst with elite single-target damage, but she's execution-heavy, so if you're not into tight timing, maybe skip her.
- Nangong Yu is a flexible Ether stunner who bridges stun and Disorder; if you already have Miyabi or Yanagi in an anomaly team, he's a good addition, otherwise don't force it.
- Promeia is an Ice anomaly support piece, worth it only if you already have an ice core, she can't carry a team on her own.
Don't pull just for the new banner; strengthening the archetype you already own is usually more worthwhile than chasing the fresh character.
3.2 team building really comes down to the same old line: the Void Hunters hold the top, the Armorer core is still being watched, and the established anomaly teams keep the baseline. If you want the absolute top, build Miyabi, Ye Shunguang, and Yixuan teams; if you want to experiment, try Claret with Roxy, but don't go all-in. Roxy is the most versatile if you're short a stunner, while Nangong Yu and Promeia are reinforcement picks, so decide by your roster. There's no one right answer to team building, and mastering one team beats half-building several.
