Where Should You Pour Your Early Resources in Legend of Ymir?
Early game resources are limited, and putting them into slows down the whole account. In Legend of Ymir, what deserves your investment is anything that speed up leveling and farming. Once your level rises, the systems unlock one by one, and you can then funnel resources into more valuable things. It breaks down into four parts: pushing the main story push for levels, upgrading the weapon ahead of armor, spending Amber on skills, and building long-term power through the Story Deck and Souls. Transitional gear that gets replaced quickly, green gear in particular, is not worth a heavy early investment. Here the priority and method of each of the four parts are laid out, so that your limited enhancement stones, Amber, and Silver all go where they count.

Push the main story push: Level Is the Gate on Resources
The most valuable early investment is not gear but level; the main story push outpaces any single piece of gear for leveling speed.
- Push the main story push as hard as you can; it is the fastest source of experience early on, with level 25 and level 28 as the two key checkpoints.
- At level 28, tokens, artifacts, traps, and the Labyrinth all unlock at once; below that level none of these systems are available, so resources spent early would be wasted.
- Repeatable daily quests can be done 10 times a day; pick the ones that reward Amber and level up while stockpiling the key resource.
Level is the premise of everything early on; pushing the main story push to 28 beats any single-point investment.
Weapon Over Armor, and Stop Enhancing at +6
In gear investment the weapon moves your power the most directly; armor and transitional pieces come after.
- Put early enhancement resources into the weapon ahead of armor; higher attack speeds up your farming, and both leveling and Amber farming get faster with it.
- +6 is the safe level for enhancement; +7 and above carries a break risk on failure, so stay at +6 early on instead of gambling a break for a few extra points.
- Dismantle surplus white and common gear into enhancement stones and Silver instead of hoarding them in storage.
The weapon is the one slot worth enhancing heavily early on; stay at +6 and clear surplus gear promptly.

How to Spend Amber and Silver Wisely
Amber is the tightest resource early on, since skill upgrades and artifact upgrades both consume it, and Silver and shop spending have to be budgeted alongside it.
- Amber comes from early quests, the daily XP dungeon, and unlimited gathering that opens at level 35; early on, funnel the Amber you have into your main skills.
- Spend Silver on skill books and MP potions as the priority; MP potions are only available at the shop, so do not wait until you run out to buy them.
- Buy the Valkyrie in the shop every day; it is basically a free gacha draw and the highest-value fixed expense you have.
Amber into skills, Silver into skill books and potions, and the daily shop Valkyrie: spend these three right and your farming speed shows it immediately.
The Story Deck and Souls: Easy-to-Miss Long-Term Power
The Story Deck gathers the three card types, Valkyrie, Disir, and mounts, into one place, and it is the easiest power source for new players to overlook. Do not waste Souls. Even common Souls should be saved for crafting missing cards later rather than spent for convenience now. Completing a full book activates area buffs, and some carry hunting EXP bonuses, which helps long-term leveling far more than a single piece of transitional gear. Early on, washing common and uncommon cards up to rare quality is enough; do not chase higher rarities, and leave the rest of your resources for weapons and skills, where they go further.
Where your early resources go comes down to one thing: make leveling and farming faster first, then let your level feed back into the resources. The main story push is the gate, the weapon is the efficiency lever, and Amber and Souls are the long-term returns; do not get the order of these three wrong. Transitional gear, stacking armor enhancement, and gambling high-risk breaks are the spending habits to avoid most in the early game. Divide your daily enhancement stones, Amber, Silver, and Souls by the principle of farming speed, and every early step lands on the right beat, leaving you something in hand when new systems unlock.
