When FC 27 goes live, your FC 26 Ultimate Team coin balance resets to zero in the new game. The coins you earned stay stranded in FC 26, where they have no value going forward. This is how EA has run the yearly cycle for a long time, and FC 27 is no different. There's no transfer window and no trick to move those coins across.

If you're still sitting on a stack of FC 26 coins, the honest move is to use them now, because they're not coming with you.

What Actually Transfers to FC 27

The list of things that carry over is short, and a couple of them matter more than players expect.

Your club name and founding date carry over. The founding date isn't just a cosmetic detail either. For returning players it ties into Founder Status, and keeping your account active year to year is how you hold onto Founder perks like exclusive Evolutions, kits, and badges. It's the one bit of history that actually earns you something in the new game.

Your FC Points also transfer, but only through a one-time prompt, and only within the same console family on the same account. You can't move FC Points between platforms, so points earned on PlayStation stay on PlayStation.

The real carry-over value comes from the Pre-Season and Season 10 objectives you completed in FC 26. Those rewards are flagged for FC 27 and delivered after launch. Everything else, your players, your packs, your SBC progress, stays behind.

Spend Your FC 26 Coins the Smart Way

Since the coins don't transfer, using them well is the only thing left that matters. The trap is spending them badly out of panic, when you could put them toward something you'll actually enjoy:

• Go for the top cards you never bought. The end of the cycle is when prices drop hard, and the elite cards you skipped all year are finally within reach. That's a better use of coins than a pile of mid cards.
• Finish the ultimate SBCs you held off on. If there's a big Squad Building Challenge card you wanted, now is the time, because the coins behind it are about to be stranded.
• Skip the junk panic buys. Buying random low-value cards just to empty your balance still wastes the coins. Concentrate them on one or two cards you'll actually use, not twenty you'll never touch.
• Leave nothing sitting in the balance. Every coin still there at reset is a coin you effectively threw away.

The mindset is simple: the coins are expiring, so spend them on something worth having, not on whatever is cheap.

The Pre-Season Rewards Still Worth Claiming

If you did the Pre-Season work in FC 26, there's real value waiting in FC 27, and it's the one bright spot in the whole transition.

The rewards arrive in early October in two batches, and they're the standard cross-version package rather than a lump of coins. You're looking at packs, loan cards, Evolution items, and coin boosters that multiply your early match earnings in FC 27. The exact contents depend on how far you pushed through the objective track.

Two rules matter here. You have to use the same EA account in FC 27 that you used in FC 26, and you have to redeem the rewards within a month of them becoming available. Miss either one and the rewards stay behind.

What Happens to the FC 26 Market Now

The FC 26 market is already thinning out, and it only moves one direction from here. Final content wrapped up in early September, and every day more players migrate to FC 27.

That thinning has two effects worth knowing. Card prices keep falling as supply outlasts demand, which is exactly why it's a buyer's market if you're still building a team. And the pool of players gets smaller, so the cards you do buy have fewer people to sell them to later. Both point the same way: buy what you want to use, not what you plan to resell.
