FC 26 Season 10 Pre-Season: Rewards and What Carries Over to FC 27
FC 26's last Ultimate Team season has quietly come and gone, but the story is not over yet. Season 10, the Pre-Season, wrapped up in late September, and the rewards it promised are only now landing in people's accounts. A lot of players will end up missing them, because the rewards arrive inside FC 27 rather than FC 26, and they expire about a month after they drop. If you spent any time in FC 26 this year, this is the piece to read before that window closes.
Season 10 Was a Send-Off, Not Just Another Season
Season 10 launched on August 13, 2026, and it was clearly built as a bridge rather than a regular season. For context, FC 26 itself shipped in September 2025, so this was the game's final stretch before FC 27 landed. The season ran for about five weeks into late September, closed out the FUTTIES event on August 21, and then the game slipped into a re-release cycle with no major new promos behind it. FUTTIES is the yearly event where EA floods the game with boosted, endgame versions of fan-favorite players, and this time it doubled as the farewell party. The pattern is standard EA playbook by now: the final season of one game exists to hand you value that follows you into the next one. Once you understand that, the rewards stop looking random and start looking like a handoff.
The Season Pass and the FUTTIES Cards
The pass ran on two tracks, a free one and a paid premium one, each 30 levels deep. The cards people actually chased sat at the ends of those tracks.
- The free pass handed out Raúl Jiménez at level 10 and finished with Alexia Putellas at level 30, with Bernardo Silva and Karim Adeyemi along the way.
- The premium pass handed out Gonçalo Ramos at level 12 and finished with Patrick Vieira, the FUTTIES Icon, at level 30.
- Putellas and Vieira were the two level 30 prizes, one on each track, so your real decision was which track to push to the end.
The two big names outside the pass were Alessandro Del Piero and Didier Drogba. Del Piero was the 99-rated FUTTIES Icon for clearing all the Completionist objectives, which is a weekly grind rather than a pass reward. Drogba sat in the Pre-Season Token Store instead, priced at 2,000 tokens.
The Token Store Raised Its Weekly Cap
The Pre-Season Token Store was the season's other grind. The weekly token cap was raised from 1,000 to 3,000, which on paper tripled how much you could earn. In practice it worked more like a ceiling than a promise, since most weeks only handed out around 1,500 to 1,800 tokens through Rivals, Squad Battles, Rush, and SBCs. The top shelf made the grind worth it, though. FUTTIES Icons like Didier Drogba, Rio Ferdinand, and Cafu sat at 2,000 tokens each, with Salma Paralluelo also in the store. The seasonal cap stayed at 5,000 and the store reset every Thursday, so the season wanted you to plan your spending instead of hoarding.
Carryover Rewards and the Deadlines You Should Not Miss
Here is the part most people get wrong. You earn these rewards in FC 26 by finishing the season, but they do not land in your FC 26 account. They get delivered into FC 27 on the same EA account, and they expire about a month after they arrive. The grind happens in one game, and the payout happens in the next.
- October 9: an 82+ x7 untradeable pack and a Quick Step PlayStyle Evolution capped at 83 OVR, for finishing the Season 10 ladder.
- October 16: the Pre-Season Completionist batch, which is 81+ x3 packs and 10,000 coins for each of the four weekly groups, plus a tradeable 83+ player pick, one of three, and 20,000 coins for completing all four.
The ladder rewards work in tiers, so even a partial finish gets you whatever rung you reached. The Completionist batch is the bigger prize, and it is tied to all four weekly groups, so the people who stayed the whole season come out best. Either way, the one-month expiry means you have to open FC 27 and claim them, or watch them disappear.
What This Means if You Still Play FC 26
With FC 27 out since late September, plenty of people have already moved over, and that is fine. FC 26 is still fully playable, and it just got a proper ending with a complete year of content behind it. If you skipped the final season, the carryover window is the last piece of FC 26 that still matters in October. And if you are only now thinking about picking the game up, you are buying a finished product rather than a moving target. The full promo cycle, the settled meta, the final season, it is all in there with nothing left to wait for. That is a very different buy from jumping in on day one, when you were paying to watch the game get built out week by week.
The final season did its job. It gave FC 26 a clean ending and handed players a reason to open FC 27 with something already in the account. Claim the carryover before the deadline, and after that, FC 26's year is officially closed.
