How to Get All Pint-Sized Slasher Masks in Fallout 76

The Pint-Sized Slasher mask is a collectible introduced in the first week of Fallout 76's The Slasher seasonal event, found on masked corpses across Appalachia. Collecting one does not take up stash or inventory space—you walk up to the corpse and interact with it. A spot you have already collected will not produce another mask, so switching servers will not let you pick it up twice. The event's main collecting goal is tied to its challenge rewards. The four challenge tiers call for a total of 93 Pint-Sized Slasher masks, while Appalachia holds roughly 108 masked corpses, which leaves some room to spare. The quest itself takes only ten masks, a different count from the challenges that follow.

Completing The Slasher: Masked Truth

Once the event is live, a breaking news broadcast plays and the quest The Slasher: Masked Truth is added automatically. It asks you to find ten masked corpses and collect ten Pint-Sized Slasher masks from them. After the tenth mask, you receive A page torn from a children's book. The clue on the page points to an unmarked house east of the Charleston Fire Department.

At that house, head to the kennel in the backyard and look inside the meat pile for the note We're coming for you. Reading it completes The Slasher: Masked Truth. One thing worth keeping straight is that quest progress and challenge progress are tracked separately. The quest needs only ten masks, while the event challenges use their own per-tier goals—so finishing the quest does not mean you have finished every challenge.

The Four Challenge Tiers and Rewards

Collecting the Masks Region by Region

The Forest

The Forest holds a large share of the mask spawns, clustered around lookout towers, cabins, camps, and fairground rides. Flatwoods lookout, Isolated cabin, Investigator's cabin, and Groves family cabin all have spots; at Groves family cabin the mask sits on the top bunk of the southern house.

Bailey family cabin has masks inside the cabin and in the outhouse beside it. Alpine River Cabins spreads them across the three cabins to the northeast, southwest, and northwest.

At Autumn Acre cabin, look near the lounge chair outside and the bathtub inside. Camp McClintock's masks are at the north lookout tower, the south barracks, and the portable toilet.

Freddy Fear's House of Scares has two masked corpses in a cafe booth. Giant Teapot's mask is by the slide to the west.

Camp Adams has two spots, in the southwest cabin and at the lookout tower. Tyler County Fairgrounds places masks at the east slide, the carousel, and the blue seat ride to the north.

Cobby's Corner has one corpse leaning against a car in the playground west of World of Corn. North Kanawha lookout's mask is on the northwest corner of the tower balcony.

Twin Pine Cabins has two spots—one against the wall of the westernmost cabin, one on the top bunk of the easternmost cabin. Lakeside Cabins holds its mask on the lounge chair of the southern house's back deck.

Toxic Valley

In Toxic Valley the masks concentrate around the tourist attractions and cabins. Hemlock Holes has two spots, near the truck bed in the parking lot and the diner booth. Kiddie Corner Cabins holds masks in the southeastern cabin and behind the northwestern cabin. Wavy Willard's Water Park has three locations: the zebra cart to the northwest, the top of the Ssslither slide, and the Knock 'Em Down stall.

Savage Divide

The Savage Divide has a large number of spots, so it helps to work through its lookouts and camps one by one. Bastion Park has three: the southeast fountain, the stone stairs to the northwest, and the slide to the west. Dolly Sods Campground places masks at the pavilion picnic table, the red tent, and the green tent. Dolly Sods Wilderness holds one in the first-floor bathroom of the ranger station, and Dolly Sods lookout has another.

Central Mountain lookout, East Mountain lookout, East Kanawha lookout, East Ridge lookout, Whitespring lookout, and South Mountain lookout all carry masked corpses. At South Mountain lookout the mask is in the red shed at the tower's base.

Ash Heap

In the Ash Heap the masks are concentrated at Camden Park. They sit in two cars of the Widowmaker roller coaster and on the white boat on the Ohio River. Once this area is clear, move on to the other regions.

The Mire

The Mire holds two locations: Camp Venture and Fissure site Sigma. Camp Venture's masks are near the southeast storage building and Bunkhouse Phoenix. Fissure site Sigma places one at the Halloween farm north of the fissure.

Burning Springs

The main collecting site in Burning Springs is Dino Peaks Mini Golf. It has three mask locations: the off-road vehicle on the raised cliff, the bench near Hole 3, and the maintenance shed in the dinosaur's jaws.

What to Keep in Mind While Collecting

Masks are one-time pickups. Once you clear a spot, it does not produce another mask, so there is no reason to hop servers hunting for a corpse you already collected.

As you reach the 30- and 50-mask stages, missed spots cost more time. Track the locations you have checked, region by region, so you do not keep revisiting cleared spots.

Some masked corpses spawn near hostile Pint-Sized Phantoms. Clear or avoid nearby enemies before you interact.
