What is the best awakening skill priority in Legend of Ymir?

The Awakening system is a critical milestone in Legend of Ymir character progression. Upon reaching Level 60 and completing the required main quests, players unlock Awakening through a two-part saga quest chain. Awakening grants access to exclusive map areas, a new Seal of Awakening equipment slot, and an entirely new set of awakening skills. These skills fall into three categories: class-specific active and passive skills, plus Potential skills shared across all classes. Awakening skill enhancement costs roughly twice that of normal skills, and skill books can be obtained through both crafting and the auction house. With limited resources, prioritizing your awakening skill investment matters far more than leveling everything at once.

Awakening Skill Unlock Order

The first step after awakening is to unlock all newly available skills, not to rush one skill to max level.

The unlock order is clear: passive first, actives second, Potential skills last.

Potential Stat Priority

Potential stat priority differs between physical and magic classes, as each relies on a different core damage attribute.

Both types share the same defensive priority. Faith boosts survival, Redemption aids recovery. Add them after your offensive stats are established. Mistakes can be reset through the system menu.

Skill Focus by Playstyle

Your awakening skill direction should align with your Valkyrie choice and primary playstyle.

Farming focuses on sustain and area efficiency, while PvP focuses on defensive Potential and control skills. Different paths require different investment priorities.

Post-Awakening Adjustments

Awakening requires more than learning new skills. Equip the Seal of Awakening slot immediately because its stats operate independently of your regular gear and provide a direct power boost. Your Valkyrie choice shapes your awakening skill build. Lock in your primary Valkyrie first, then configure skills around its enhancements. Awakening skill books come primarily through crafting, with materials dropping from daily dungeons and awakening-exclusive zones. Focus your early farming on these material dungeons, prioritizing your awakening passive and main active skill. Magic classes stack magic attack, mana recovery, skill cooldown, and accuracy. Physical classes stack physical attack, accuracy, and critical rate. Uninterrupted mana cycling during farming is the baseline indicator that your setup is complete.

Regardless of class, the awakening passive always comes first because it provides permanent stats applied directly to your character panel. Active skills follow, brought to usable levels. Potential skills come last, with specific order depending on your damage type: magic classes prioritize Insight, Wisdom, and Agility, while physical classes prioritize Wrath and Agility. Farming players ensure uninterrupted mana cycling, whereas PvP players max defensive Potential skills first. Awakening is the core growth line from Level 60 onward, with skill costs at double the normal rate. Every resource should go to the highest-priority skill. When the order is right, your awakened character's power will climb far faster than spreading resources evenly.
