How Many Tiers of Sticker Packs Are There in Monopoly GO?
Monopoly GO divides sticker packs into five tiers by color, running from the green pack up to the purple pack. The further along the color, the more stickers inside and the higher the guaranteed star rating. Stickers themselves are rated from one to five stars for rarity, with gold stickers and Wild stickers as special variants that only appear in high-tier packs and limited-time events. Understanding what each tier contains and what it guarantees is the key to opening the right pack at the right moment.

The Five Base Sticker Pack Tiers
Sticker packs come in five color tiers, with each color tied to a guaranteed star rating and sticker count.
- Green pack: One-star guarantee, two stickers, the most common entry-level pack.
- Yellow pack: Two-star guarantee, three stickers, still mostly low-star cards.
- Pink pack: Three-star guarantee, three stickers, the dividing line between low and high rarity.
- Blue pack: Four-star guarantee, four stickers, where high-rarity cards start showing up consistently.
- Purple pack: Five-star guarantee, six stickers, the top-tier pack available through normal channels.
Across the five tiers, the guaranteed star rating rises from green to purple.
Special Packs and Rare Cards
Beyond the five base color packs, there are several special packs and special cards with higher rarity and narrower availability.
- Swap Pack: White holographic look, contains only three-to-five-star stickers, and lets you swap up to three unwanted cards after opening.
- Galaxy Pack: Six stickers, guarantees at least one new card you're missing.
- Gold stickers: The highest-rarity variant, only produced in high-tier packs or limited events like Golden Blitz, and untradeable most of the time.
- Wild sticker: Converts into any single missing card, including gold ones, and only comes from special events and high-tier vaults.
Base packs rely on volume; special packs rely on targeted gap-filling.

Sticker Pack Drop Rates
A pack's color only guarantees one sticker at its star rating. The rest still follow a probability curve.
- Low-star cards are the norm: A purple pack guarantees one five-star, but about half the remaining five still roll as low-star.
- High-star odds are slim: A green pack has roughly a one-percent chance of a four-star card, and five-star cards are down in the fractions of a percent.
- Gold odds are lower still: Four-star and five-star gold cards generally sit below one percent.
The guarantee only sets the floor. A pack's color decides your minimum haul.
How to Open Packs Without Wasting Them
When you open matters more than the tier itself. Duplicate stickers convert into sticker stars by rarity, which you bank toward vault rewards. Save blue and purple packs for the Sticker Boom window, when the count or rewards double. Save gold duplicates for the Golden Blitz window to trade, where one spare gold card can become a missing five-star. Near the end of an album, Galaxy Packs and Swap Packs hold the most value, one guaranteeing a new card and the other letting you swap.
The sticker pack tier system is ultimately a guarantee-plus-probability setup: color sets the floor, star ratings mark the rarity, and special packs offer targeted gap-filling. Understanding this structure tells you whether a pack is worth opening or holding. Rather than blindly cracking packs on sight, assign each one its place by tier, direct high-star packs to Sticker Boom, and save special packs for the missing holes in your album. A pack's true value isn't in how many you open, but in opening each one at the right moment.
