How to Get Coins Fast in FC 26
Coins in FC 26 Ultimate Team are the difference between playing with a squad you actually want and grinding with whatever the pack gods handed you. The frustrating thing about coins is that they come slow at first and then, once you figure out a couple of habits, they start compounding.
I've done the zero-spend grind in enough FIFA and FC titles to know there's no single trick. The players who sit on millions aren't running one secret method. They treat weekly rewards as a salary and the transfer market as a side business on top of it. What changes is how carefully they work both.

Build Your Base With Weekly Rewards
Before you touch the transfer market, lock down the coins the game hands you every week. Division Rivals and Squad Battles are the steady salary. FUT Champions pays the biggest single chunks if you can qualify.
The key is picking a rank you can hit every week without burning out, rather than chasing a division where you'll lose most of your games. Consistency pays more than ambition here.
- Play Rivals and Squad Battles to a rank you can reliably reach each week and collect every time.
- In the early weeks, take the untradeable pack option when it offers double the packs, since that fodder completes SBCs for free.
- Take pure coins when you need seed capital for trading, and save tradeable packs for when you already have a plan for the coins.
Untradeable packs look worse on paper because you can't sell them, but the double quantity feeds your SBCs and saves you spending coins on fodder. That saving is real income even if it never shows up as a balance.
Use Bronze Packs as a Low-Risk Start
The Bronze Pack Method used to be the default way to build a balance from nothing, but it's been nerfed hard in recent titles. EA changed pack contents and made a lot of the filler untradeable or nearly worthless, so the old "list everything" routine no longer works the way it did.
The method still functions as a low-risk transition when you have almost no coins, but you have to be selective. The tradeable bronze players that SBCs and Evolutions actually want still sell, while the badges, kits, and managers mostly rot in your transfer list.
- Only list bronze players you've checked with Compare Price, since those are the cards with real demand.
- Quick-sell or skip the badges, kits, and managers, which clog your transfer list without selling.
- Treat the whole thing as a starting point rather than a long-term income stream.
The transfer list caps at 100 slots, and every unsellable badge sitting in one is a slot you can't use for a card that would actually sell. That's why the old blanket advice now costs you money.
Flip SBC Fodder on the Market
Once you have a bit of capital, the real money in FC 26 is buying low and selling high on high-rated cards that SBCs constantly demand.
The cycle is predictable. When a promo floods the market or rewards drop, prices on 83 to 88 rated cards sink. A few days later an SBC drops that needs exactly those ratings, and the same cards jump. You buy during the dip and sell into the spike.
- Buy high-rated non-meta cards when the market is cold, right after rewards or a big promo.
- Sell them when a popular SBC pushes demand and prices rise.
- Always factor in the 5% transfer tax before you decide a flip is worth it.
The profit per card is small, often a few hundred coins, but you do it in volume. A few hundred cards flipped for a small margin turns into real money over a week.

Snipe and Mass Bid for Quick Flips
Sniping and mass bidding are faster, more active ways to work the same idea, and they're where the sharp traders spend their time.
Sniping means setting a tight filter for a card you know the price of, then grabbing the underpriced listing the moment it appears. It works best during promo pack drops, when players list cards fast without checking what they're worth. Mass bidding is the slower version: you place low bids on dozens of copies of the same card and relist the ones you win at the normal buy now price.
- Set your snipe filters before a promo drop so you're ready when supply spikes.
- For mass bidding, keep your max bid below the buy now price minus tax and your margin.
- Don't chase a card that's already climbed, since the easy profit is gone by then.
Both methods reward speed and patience in equal measure. You'll lose some bids and overpay on some snipes while you learn, which is just the cost of getting the feel for it.
Clean Out Your Club
Most accounts are sitting on more coins than they realize, locked inside items nobody thinks to sell.
Chemistry styles are the big one. Shadow and Hunter cards hold real value all year, and players pile them up without ever listing them. Spare tradeable players are the second hidden balance, since everything you packed but never used can be sold back into the market.
- Sort your club by chemistry style and sell the ones you don't use, especially Shadow and Hunter.
- List spare tradeable players instead of leaving them to sit, and price-check specials before you dump them.
- Feed untradeable high-rated cards into SBCs rather than leaving them unused, since that converts dead cards into real value.
The least glamorous method is still the fastest first step. You can clear a few thousand coins in ten minutes without playing a match or risking a single trade.
The whole thing comes down to treating coins like they're already yours and just need to be collected. Take the weekly rewards, keep a low-risk method running, and learn how one or two market cycles move. The players with millions aren't doing more work than you. They're just doing it every week instead of in bursts.
